INK REGRETS, HANDLED HONESTLY

Laser Tattoo Removal in Waterloo Region

If a tattoo, brow tattoo, or lip blush no longer fits who you are, advanced laser removal can fade or clear it, and we will tell you honestly what to expect before you start.

At Bonita Medical Aesthetics & Wellness, we specialize in safe, effective, and personalized laser tattoo removal using the latest technology to give your skin a clean slate.

We see clients from Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and St. Jacobs, and we will give you a realistic picture of what your tattoo is likely to do before you commit to a series.

AN HONEST ASSESSMENT FIRST

NOT EVERY TATTOO COMES OFF THE SAME WAY.

Ink colour, depth, age and your own skin all change how a tattoo responds, and any clinic promising a clean result before looking at yours is guessing.

Black, blue, green and red generally clear well. Yellow, orange and white are more stubborn and sometimes do not fully go. Permanent makeup behaves differently again, because some pigments contain iron oxide that can darken before it lightens, so brows and lip blush need a staged, cautious approach rather than a standard protocol.

We will look at your tattoo, tell you roughly how many sessions it is likely to take, and tell you if we do not think you will get the result you are hoping for. The consultation is complimentary, in person or virtual.

Tattoo Removal Has Come a Long Way

Tattoos are meant to be permanent, but life changes and so do our preferences. Laser tattoo removal today is faster and more effective than it used to be, and PicoSure Pro is why.

PICOSURE® PRO LASER

Whether it’s an old tattoo, faded brows, or lip blush you’ve outgrown, the PicoSure® Pro laser offers advanced, precise removal without the downtime or harsh side effects of older technology.

By using this powerful, pigment-targeting laser, we can safely treat both traditional tattoos and permanent makeup, including brows and lips. It’s also one of the few systems effective on sunset shades like red, orange, and yellow (colours that many other lasers can’t fully clear).

A fast, effective treatment for all skin tones. And because it works at a picosecond speed, it breaks down ink into finer particles, meaning faster fading and fewer sessions.

A PRESCRIBER ON SITE

Overseen by a Nurse Practitioner, Not Just a Technician

Tattoo removal at Bonita is performed under the oversight of Jessica Caceres, Nurse Practitioner. If something about your skin or history needs a closer look before we treat you, she is in the building, not a referral away.

WHAT IT COSTS

Tattoo removal is priced per treatment, based on the size of the tattoo. We use everyday objects rather than measurements, because most people know how big a watch face is and nobody knows what nine square centimetres looks like.

Size of tattoo Price per treatment
XXS, about the size of a nickel $150
XS, about the size of a watch face $200
Small, about the size of an iPhone $300
Medium, about the size of an envelope $400
Large, about the size of a paperback book $500
X-Large, about the size of a laptop $650
Eyebrow removal $150
Lip blushing removal $150

Most tattoos need six to nine treatments, spaced six to eight weeks apart. Some need fewer and some need more, and that depends on the ink, how old it is, where it sits on your body and how your immune system clears it.

The consultation is free, and you can do it in person or virtually. Send a photo and we can tell you which size band you are in and roughly how many treatments to plan for, before you commit to anything.

Tattoo Removal for Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo

We are in St. Jacobs, about twenty-five minutes from Guelph and fifteen from uptown Waterloo

Sessions are spaced six to eight weeks apart, so it is not a weekly trip, and appointments themselves are short. Most people are in and out inside half an hour once numbing is done.

Parking is free and right outside, which is worth knowing if you have driven a while to get here.
