What is a HydraFacial and who is it good for?

HydraFacial is a multi-step facial treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates the skin simultaneously using a vortex suction system and tailored serums. It is suitable for virtually all skin types and concerns, including congestion, dullness, uneven texture, fine lines, and dehydration. There is no downtime, which makes it an excellent regular maintenance treatment as well as a one-time refresh.

What is RF microneedling, and how is it different from regular microneedling?

RF microneedling, performed at Bonita using the Potenza device, combines the skin-stimulating benefits of microneedling with targeted radiofrequency energy delivered into the deeper layers of skin. This dual action produces more significant collagen remodelling and tightening than microneedling alone, making it particularly effective for laxity, texture, enlarged pores, and scarring. Regular microneedling with SkinPen is also available for clients where RF is not indicated.

How do I know which treatment is right for my skin?

A skin consultation with one of our aestheticians is the best starting point. Lexus and Madison are skilled at assessing your skin concerns, your skin type, and your goals, and recommending a treatment approach that makes sense for you. In some cases, our Nurse Practitioner may also be involved if hormonal or medical factors are contributing to your skin concerns.

Is there downtime with these treatments?

HydraFacial and most chemical peels have little to no downtime. Potenza RF microneedling and SkinPen microneedling typically involve 24 to 48 hours of redness and mild swelling. eCO2 laser resurfacing has the most significant recovery, with 5 to 7 days of redness and peeling. We will always discuss what to expect before your treatment so you can plan accordingly.

Can I combine facial treatments with injectables or laser services?

Yes, and many clients do. Combining treatments often produces better overall results than any single approach alone. We will help you sequence treatments appropriately so they complement rather than interfere with one another. A consultation with our team is the best way to build a cohesive treatment plan.

Potenza treatments can be performed on all skin types, anywhere on the body and any time of the year. You will experience firmer, smoother, more even skin.

Incorporating the Fusion Tip provides a luxurious facial whereby a proprietary cocktail of injectables such as hyaluronic acid, Sculptra, and/or vitamins is infused into the skin during the treatment. Each treatment is customized to the individual client's skin care needs.
